While you are enjoying your stay with us at Dorset Farm there are lots of things
you can do without having to get into the car and drive miles and miles.
We can offer walking - we have several farm walks we can give you, fishing, photography,
cycling, just sitting and dreaming, bird watching, reading and more. We have our
own hide which you are free to use to perhaps spot deer, squirrels, birds, foxes
and lots more. We have books to help identify that elusive butterfly
Walk the farm
with Jon
Explore the beautiful farm which borders down to the River Tamar. Jon will show
you the remnants of the Bude to Launceston canal complete with canal bridge. Spot
lots of wildlife - you may be lucky to see a red deer or hares playing in the grass.
Lots of birds to spot - we even have our own hide.
Go fishing
We have a frontage of about a kilometre along the River Tamar which makes for a perfect day’s fishing. We can arrange licences for you if you wish and show you best spots to enjoy your sport.
Play Golf
There are a number of good golf courses locally so don’t forget to bring
your clubs with you.
Lots of cycling too from beginner (Camel Trail) to more experienced - Granite Way etc.
